Before Deliver Day

We want your Floorstore experience to be fantastic from start to finish, and that includes the delivery process.
- Once you’re home after placing your order, grab a tape measure and make sure that your new bed will fit through the doors and around any tight corners on its journey to your bedroom. If you’ve any concerns, just give us a call.
- All our beds are individually supplied to order. As soon as your order arrives at our store, we’ll be in touch to arrange a convenient delivery date.
The Big Day
Just one step away from dreamy sleep…
On your delivery day, the driver will call you about one hour before they arrive. If you’ve chosen our ‘full deliver and install’ service:
- Make sure you have cleared your old bed and mattress from the room before the delivery team arrive. Manoeuvring beds is a skill, but even the most experienced delivery team needs space to work.
- So we can take your bed to it’s final position without leaving any marks or damage, please make sure the delivery team has a clear path through your house.
- Once our team have finished they’ll leave your new bed perfectly in place and duvet-ready, with all packaging removed and recycled!
If you’ve chosen our standard delivery service:
- The team will deliver your new bed to your door for you to move and set up in your chosen room.
- If you’d like to upgrade to our ‘deliver and install’ service for just £25, just call us before delivery day

Settling in…
Your old bed or mattress is probably much less supportive than it used to be, so expect your brand new one to feel different!
- Contemporary mattresses are designed to help you sleep more soundly so don’t worry if your bed feels a little strange at first. Allow yourself a little time and you’ll be enjoying more comfortable and luxurious sleep before you know it!
- Your new mattress will settle in areas where your body weight is greater, helping to give you support just where you need it. Don’t be surprised if the
mattress looks uneven: it means it’s working hard for you!
Caring For Your Bed
At Floorstore, we offer only high quality products to our customers. To help you enjoy years of great service from our bed and mattress ranges, we’ve put together some simple tips.
- Unless your new bed has a ‘single side’ or ‘no turn’ mattress (if it does, we’ll have explained this to you), it’s important to rotate your mattress and turn it over every week for the first 2-3 months. After that, just once a month is enough.
- Invest in a moisture-resistant mattress cover: it will protect your mattress from body moisture and other liquids, and could save you lots of money!
- In case of spills on the mattress, avoid using chemical cleaners which can damage fabrics and stitching. Instead, follow the manufacturer’s cleaning guide or contact us for advice.
