About UsThe Floorstore has grown from a family-run business established in 1961 into one of the UK’s leading flooring retailers, with a strong presence across Yorkshire and a growing national online business.We are now looking for a motivated and ambitious Retail Sales Executive to join our Harrogate showroom team.The RoleThis is a customer-facing sales role within a professional showroom environment. You will be responsible for delivering excellent service while helping customers choose the right flooring solutions for their needs.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Advising customers on carpets and flooring products
  • Assisting customers in the showroom and over the phone
  • Processing orders and supporting sales activities
  • Promoting and selling the full product range
  • Handling enquiries via face-to-face, phone, and digital channels
Weekend work is required as part of a rota.
About You
  • Proven experience in a sales role
  • Confident, driven, and target-focused
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to understand customer needs and provide solutions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office and email)
  • Flexible and willing to learn
